I was very pleased with the pacing and level of engagement of the students. You held the students accountable and actively involved in what they were learning. You began with having them develop their own questions or notices from the book. The students took charge of the learning and were able to identify and generate questions necessary to help them better understand the novel."
I particularly noticed how well-crafted the instructional delivery and choice music and videos impacted the students engagement in the learning. It was very wise to use an unfamiliar song to listen for irony. Using familiar tunes or lyrics may have distracted the students from the learning outcome. I also felt the choice of videos were simple and relevant. They fully addressed the content being presented."
I think the overall lesson went very well. You are very creative in your delivery style. You are able to create very student-friendly power point presentations that allow students to track the progression of the lesson. It also allows you to instantly go back if you need to review something. You also capture those “in the moment” responses by typing right onto the lesson. Presenting your lesson this way gives you that immediate assessment of their understanding and the ability to plan for the next lesson without having to remember every detail."
[I]t would take pages of me explaining how grateful I am. I only wish happiness and joy in your life. I know that you will make your own students one day as grateful as me. Thank you so, so, so much!" December 2017
