It's that time of year again. Season finales have aired. Repeats are the only things on. And last week, major networks held Upfronts. We learned what shows would be returning, what shows we should say good-bye to, and what new shows we should welcome.

Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. - ABC
This is obvious. I love superheroes, and I love Joss Whedon. So this show has the real potential to be a win for me. But more importantly, it's likely to be a huge hit. Avengers was the highest grossing domestic movie last year. Superheroes (in entertainment) are almost unstoppable right now. So the best thing about this show? It's okay to love it because it probably won't be cancelled.
S.H.E.I.L.D. will air Tuesdays at 8:00 on ABC.
Favorite line: "Don't ever tell me there is no way."
Once Upon A Time in Wonderland - ABC
I love reimagined fairy tales. And this is a spin-off of the very popular Once Upon a Time, which is a show that I really enjoy. If you can look past the horrible special effects, Once Upon a Time is consistently good. The two shows have the same creators, so I am optimistic. Originally, ABC planned to air this show in Once's time slot when Once took its season break. But it looks as if ABC has had a change of heart and will air it starting in the fall on Thursdays. I find this unfortunate. I really liked the idea of almost a full year of Once themed shows. I would love to see a station try something like that soon.
Once in Wonderland will air Thursdays at 8:00 on ABC.
Favorite line: "Alice, you were an ignored little girl who wanted to be loved!"
Back In The Game - ABC
I almost didn't put this show on the list. I generally don't watch many comedies, and often, the ones I do watch, are cancelled (Go On and Ben & Kate). This show made my list because of Maggie Lawson (Psych). I love Psych, and I am super sad that its final season is a short season. But I'm glad that Maggie Lawson will continue starring in a TV show, so I will give this show a chance. Plus, the trailer is cute.
It will air Wednesdays midseason (time to be determined) on ABC.
Favorite line: "Tell him as soon as I get my childhood back."
The Crazy Ones - CBS
Sarah Michelle Geller and Robin Williams? Yes. The behind-the-scenes look that CBS has provided doesn't offer much, but I definitely plan to check this show out.
It will air Thursdays at 9:00 on CBS.
Favorite line: *see meat song starting at 2:37*
The Tomorrow People - CW
Tomorrow People is about young (attractive) people with special powers. What's not to like? This show seems like the perfect genre show to follow Arrow on Wednesday nights. It's very X-Men, which is one of my absolute favorite superhero franchises. Also, Mark Pellegrino (Supernatural). A quick Google search tells me that there is a 1970's version of this show and an early 1990's version. I haven't seen either, so I cannot compare.
It will air Wednesdays at 9:00 on The CW.
Favorite line: "You're the superior species? Now prove it."
Us & Them - FOX
Us & Them is based on BBC series Gavin & Stacey, which I have not seen. But I am still very excited about this trailer. First, it stars Alexis Bledel (Gilmore Girls), who I love. It's great to see her finally return to TV after a semi-successful movie career. Second, it just looks cute and charming. This show just seems like a nice, light (wholesome?) comedy. It's also a single-camera comedy (which I prefer).
Its slated for Fox's midseason, and its date and time have not been released.
Favorite line: "Well, no abductions reported on the NYPD Twitter feed . . . yet. Either Stacey's date is going well or else she's duct tapped in the back of someone's truck."
